Where science meets spirit whispers

Coaching that meets you where you are at, while focusing on who you’re becoming. Together, blending science and spirit, we repave neurological pathways, tend to subconscious beliefs, and translate new insights into aligned, embodied action. The result? The felt sense of returning home to yourself.

What is trauma-informed coaching?

Trauma-informed coaching holds space for what has been, while gently orienting toward what’s becoming. It supports post-traumatic growth as it takes root—not by bypassing the pain you’ve lived through, but by honoring the quiet ways you’re already growing beyond it.

By post-traumatic growth, I mean the courageous work of rebuilding safety, strength, and self-trust after life has broken you open. It often begins in that in-between moment—after the dust has settled—when the old ways no longer fit and the now what? becomes an invitation. Here, we center ourselves around your inner knowing, and turn toward the possibilities your wisdom and strength are making possible.

In our work together, we focus on:

  • Your body compass—the subtle yes, no, and maybe that guide you toward alignment.

  • The tiny, courageous shifts that build momentum toward a life that feels kind, powerful, and true.

  • Creative practices and play, because healing doesn’t have to be heavy to be at work.

  • Somatic tools that help your body trust the felt sense of safety, possibility, and joy again.

  • Mindset and meaning-making, gently questioning the thoughts that limit you and strengthening the ones that support your growth.

  • Noticing patterns with compassion, not judgment.

Together, we’ll hold space for the person you were, celebrate the person you are, and delight in the person you’re becoming.

This is a season of reimagining, rebuilding, and reclaiming.

“Kari is a warm and compassionate coach who brings joy to every session. Her energy is both uplifting and spiritually grounding. Her somatic practices have been profoundly insightful in helping me connect with my body as a compass. The care and kindness she holds in our coaching sessions is palpable. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a coach with a sincere presence, a gift for beautiful language, and the skill to help translate your vision into action.”

 FAQs

  • Therapy and coaching both support your journey—but they do so in different ways.

Therapy looks at both your past and present to support healing. You’ll often work with a therapist around mental health diagnoses, unresolved trauma, or emotional wounds. The focus is on processing what has happened, improving day-to-day functioning, and helping you return to a baseline of stability. If you’re struggling in your everyday life and feel called to explore past experiences or events, therapy is likely the better fit for you.

Coaching meets you in the present and looks toward your future. It can be especially powerful if you’ve already developed insight and awareness through therapy. If you’re generally stable yet find yourself wanting something more—or something different—coaching may be the right container for you. Together, we’ll explore what your truest self is longing for and identify practical, creative ways to step into your power, so you can design a life that feels deeply fulfilling, kind, and good.

  • No—very often I work with clients who are just looking for something more, or different.

Maybe you feel stuck, uncertain, or ready to try something new. Maybe life has recently uprooted you, or you have recently uprooted your life. Maybe you don’t know what it is that you want, you just know this isn’t it.

Wherever and however you are, you’re welcome here!

  • Are you carrying a quiet longing for something more—or something different—without quite knowing how to name it?

Do you look around at a life that appears “good on paper,” yet still feel stuck, restless, or unfulfilled?

Are you chronically exhausted, as if you’re moving through a dense fog—heavy, disorienting, and relentless—where it’s hard to tell up from down or left from right?

Is there a fierce inner critic living in your head, a constant bully that follows you everywhere and manages to ruin even the most beautiful moments?

Do you feel drawn to reconnect with your body and learn how to listen to its deeper wisdom?

Have you tried all the things—mindfulness, healthy habits, visualizations—only to find yourself right back here, in the very place you were hoping to leave behind?

If any of this resonates, coaching may be the next right step. A place to land. To recalibrate. And to begin building a life that feels aligned, alive, and truly yours.

  • Yes! Quite a bit, actually. After seeing the diverse social-emotional needs children were bringing into the classroom, I designed an 8-week program in direct response to those needs. This program is specifically developed to build upon the language, self-efficacy, and coping strategies for the Big Feelings children encounter while in connection with themselves and others.

More often than not, this coaching continues beyond the 8 weeks, providing personalized, one-on-one support with new (and old) emotional regulation tools, and working through everyday scenarios with consistent guidance (Please note: all of my work as a coach is carried out virtually, including my work with children.)

  • Healing and growth should never be out of reach. That’s why I offer a sliding scale—a flexible pricing model designed to honor diverse financial situations:

    • Supported — $125
When full-rate pricing is a barrier. Supported access bridges the gap.

    • Equitable — $175
For those who can afford full cost without significant strain. Sustains the work directly.

    • Benevolent — $225
For those with financial abundance who want to contribute beyond their own access, making coaching possible for others through scholarships or reduced rates.

    • Emotional Regulation Coaching for Kids — $90

A limited number of scholarships are also available upon request.
